About Kurtis M. Hutson
Kurtis is an associate at Anthony & Partners, where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation, creditors rights, bankruptcy and restructurings, and corporate counsel advisory. He received his B.A. graduating with magna cum laude distinction from Kent State University, and his J.D. from The University of Florida Levin College of Law. While completing his undergraduate studies, Kurtis clerked at the District Attorney’s office and interned at a government policy think tank in Washington D.C. In law school, he was recognized as a member of the Dean’s list, held board roles on the Law College Council and Association for Law and Business, and participated on a team that was a finalist for the University of Florida Warrington College of Business, Big Idea Business Plan Competition. Throughout this time, Kurtis worked in-house for a Fortune 500 technology company and clerked for a national corporate counsel law firm. Most recently, Kurtis was an attorney for one of the largest law firms in the world, where he supported the firm’s global banking and financial markets practice group. Prior to joining the legal profession, Kurtis worked in corporate strategy and business development at technology startups and management consulting firms.
