About John A. Anthony
John is the managing member of Anthony & Partners, LLC, Tampa, Florida’s premier bankruptcy and creditors’ rights firm. He covers the statewide needs of his clients from Pensacola to Key West and his practice includes areas of chapter 11 reorganizations, complex chapter 7 liquidations, assignments for the benefit of creditors, loan restructures, state court loan enforcement litigation, and lender liability defense in state and federal courts. About Stephenie Biernacki Anthony
Stephenie is a founding member of Anthony & Partners, LLC, with offices located in Tampa and Bartow, Florida. She is a past President, Chairman and Secretary of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association, having served on the Association’s Board for eight consecutive years. For two years following admission to The Florida Bar, Stephenie clerked for the Honorable Alexander L. Paskay, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida. Stephenie is a trial lawyer focusing on creditors’ rights, bankruptcy law and commercial litigation.
During her career, Stephenie has represented lenders, fiduciaries, and other parties-in-interest in Chapter 11, Chapter 13, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. In addition to general civil litigation, Stephenie focuses upon creditor-debtor litigation in breach of contract, foreclosure, replevin, lender liability, and other loan enforcement contexts. Stephenie’s litigation experience includes representation in state and federal trial and appellate courts statewide.
About Barbara Luikart
Barbara is a member of Anthony & Partners, LLC and has over 28 years of experience in all facets of commercial real estate. Her experience includes negotiating, documenting and closing the acquisition, development, financing, sale and leasing of commercial properties, including apartment, hotel, restaurant, retail, office, nursing home and golf course communities, large vacant land tracts and mixed use (retail, office and residential) developments. She represents developers, lenders, borrowers, commercial landlords and tenants, individuals and businesses. Barbara has expertise in title insurance matters and serves on the 13th Circuit Advisory for The Attorneys Title Insurance Fund.
About Frank Lafalce
Frank is a member of Anthony & Partners, LLC, practicing in the areas of banking law, general business law, loan restructuring, complex commercial transactions and commercial litigation. Prior to Anthony & Partners, LLC, Frank was Executive Vice President and Corporate Counsel for Florida Bank. Frank was responsible for the management of the Bank’s Special Asset portfolio, and held several positions at the Bank prior thereto, including President and Chief Executive Officer.
He also was Director of Special Assets for $5 billion-asset First Florida Bank headquartered in Tampa, Florida from 1989 until its purchase by Barnett Bank in 1993, and had the same role at $25 billion asset Maryland National Bank of Baltimore Maryland from 1986 through 1989. Frank spent 5 years with the law firm of Cook, Howard, Downes & Tracy of Towson, Maryland as an associate attorney, handling all types of commercial, financial and regulatory transactions.
About John W. Landkammer
Mr. Landkammer has represented various types of business clients, financial institutions and other creditors, including commercial banks, private equity lenders, and corporations. His practice includes a broad spectrum of representation of these types of clients in litigation, bankruptcy, negotiation of loan workouts, asset sales/purchases, and documentation of debtor-in-possession financing and other loan transactions and security interests.
Mr. Landkammer also handles litigation in federal, bankruptcy and state courts with a focus on creditors’ rights issues, including credit litigation, lien enforcement, commercial mortgage foreclosures, fraudulent or preferential transfer actions, defense of actions involving debt collection practices, assignments for the benefit of creditors and other types of credit litigation. Mr. Landkammer has also provided a wide variety of services to lenders and creditors with respect to perfection and enforcement of their rights under the Uniform Commercial Code.
About Dominic Isgro
Dominic is an associate attorney with Anthony & Partners, LLC. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and creditors’ rights, representing businesses and financial institutions in federal, bankruptcy, and state courts in a variety of matters, including commercial mortgage foreclosures, fraudulent transfer actions, lien enforcement actions, and defense of actions involving debt collection practices. Dominic has also represented business clients in matters concerning federal government contracting and regulatory compliance, as well as defense of actions under the Federal False Claims Act, commonly known as “whistleblower” lawsuits.
Dominic received his B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, after which he served as an infantry officer in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army. He received his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was an active member of the Corporate and Securities Litigation Group Moot Court team. While in law school, Dominic also held leadership positions in the Eighth Judicial Circuit Law Student Association and the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and served as a volunteer with the Alachua County Habitat for Humanity home building project.
About Andrew J Ghekas
Andrew is an associate attorney with Anthony & Partners, LLC. He received his B.A. from the Florida State University and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Andrew was the recipient of a number of High Grade Awards and Honors and graduated in the Top 10 of his class (#8). Upon his graduation from Stetson, Andrew was presented with The Alexander L. Paskay Scholarship Award for outstanding aptitude in the area of Bankruptcy Law and was recognized by Stetson University College of Law for his outstanding performance in advanced bankruptcy courses.
During law school, Andrew served as Judicial Intern with the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, as well as the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
About Nicholas Lafalce
Nicholas is an associate with Anthony & Partners, LLC, and has represented various types of financial institutions, commercial banks, and other lenders in commercial litigation actions and bankruptcy matters. Nicholas focuses his practice on creditors rights, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, commercial mortgage foreclosure, and collection actions.
Nicholas received his B.A. from the University of South Florida and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school Nicholas interned with the Office of the City Attorney for the City of Miami.
About Bradley W Crocker
Bradley W. Crocker is an associate at Anthony and Partners, where his practice focuses on commercial litigation and advising startup companies. After studying accounting at Georgetown University, Bradley pursued his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. As a law student, Bradley influenced the strategic direction of a D.C.-based hedge fund through legal-based research and served as a research assistant to Professor Robert Emerson. Bradley was a member of UF’s Antitrust Moot Court team, which earned national runner-up honors at the 2015 Global Antitrust Institute Invitational. He was also a member of the Business Moot Court Team, Florida Journal of International Law, and Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy.
Prior to joining Anthony and Partners, Bradley was an associate with a large, Florida-based litigation firm where he focused his practice on litigation, transportation law, and business transactions. While there, he counseled a telehealth startup raising a $1MM seed round and assisted with multiple trials.
Stan is an associate with Anthony and Partners, where his practice focuses on commercial litigation. After studying finance at Florida State University, Stan pursued his Juris Doctorate at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Prior to joining Anthony and Partners Stan was a summer associate with a Tampa based firm where he focused his practice on commercial litigation, real estate, and environmental law.
