About Andrew J. Ghekas
Andrew is an associate attorney with Anthony & Partners, LLC. He received his B.A. from the Florida State University and his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Andrew was the recipient of a number of High Grade Awards and Honors and graduated in the Top 10 of his class (#8). Upon his graduation from Stetson, Andrew was presented with The Alexander L. Paskay Scholarship Award for outstanding aptitude in the area of Bankruptcy Law and was recognized by Stetson University College of Law for his outstanding performance in advance bankruptcy courses. During law school, Andrew served as Judicial Intern with the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, as well as the Honorable Elizabeth A. Kovachevich at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Since joining Anthony & Partners in 2015, Andrew has represented clients in a variety of complex and highly contested commercial and business litigation cases. His experience includes representing various financial institutions, private equity lenders, corporations, and individuals in a range of noncompete litigation, fraudulent transfer litigation, commercial foreclosure litigation, contract disputes, post-judgment collection activities, and other general commercial litigation. Andrew has also represented clients in defense of actions brought under the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.
